about
I'm a creative leader and consultant whose work spans luxury, tech, craft economies, Fortune 100 e-commerce, and impact enterprise—shaped by years helping organizations build products, tell stories, and scale systems. Grounded in the belief that story integrity and commercial success can coexist when designed to, I bring my perspective to advisory and fractional leadership roles in purpose-driven organizations through Future Foreword.
I work with organizations in transition: founders building with integrity from the start, heritage brands maintaining relevance through change, conservation organizations reframing narratives, and science-based companies making complexity visible and compelling. My professional background spans 20+ years across cultures and sectors—creative leadership at Walmart, Stitch Fix, and Hatch, luxury product development at Ralph Lauren and Coach, and co-founding the brand for a Clinton Global Initiative-recognized nonprofit. Each role tested whether story integrity and commercial success could coexist—and proved they can when designed to.
My practice is informed by formative years living and working in craft communities across Bolivia, India, and Guatemala, and education from Harvard (Sustainability Graduate Program), UC Berkeley (Landscape Architecture), and FIT (International Trade and Jewelry Design), with training in systems thinking and transformational facilitation.
I have deep reverence for materiality, ecological systems, the spaces where science meets art, and systemic human needs: how we feel, connect, and belong. I explore these ideas further in Thresholds, a newsletter on culture, craft, ecology, and futures.
After 15 years in NYC and abroad, I'm now based in Marin County, California, where I'm an avid trail runner and outdoor enthusiast—bringing the same discipline, curiosity, and joy to my work and daily life.
“Through my experiences I've learned—and continue to learn—that the fusion and balance of seemingly opposing forces is often where the magic happens.
