Future Foreword — In the midst of Covid, many us were craving connection, change, and a new way of learning to lead through transitional times. There was a desire to understand the interconnectedness of our industry deeply, with trusted peers, through cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing and storytelling. Future Foreword was platform to do so. I developed and facilitated a series of structured, on-going dialogue that united a small group of cross-disciplinary perspectives to build mutual trust, become curious together, and engage in collective transformational learning. Members were rising leaders in design, materials science, branding, communication and marketing, manufacturing, labor and environmental activism, and other key areas crucial to driving systemic change in the apparel and textile industry.
